Event Heads
ITEvent Round Details
A 90-minute competitive programming contest consisting of 4–5 algorithmic problems of increasing difficulty. Teams must solve as many problems as possible within the allotted time. The top-performing teams will qualify for Round 2.
- Using the internet and AI are strictly prohibited.
- Any form of plagiarism or code sharing are not allowed.
- Participants may use any programming language supported by the contest platform.
- All team members must participate in the challenge
Teams will be ranked first by the number of problems solved, followed by the total penalty time (ICPC-style scoring). If still tied, the team that achieved the last accepted submission earlier will be ranked higher.
A 60-minute interactive team challenge designed to test problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, communication, and quick thinking through a series of engaging tasks. The exact challenge format will be revealed during the event
- Only teams qualified from Round 1 may participate.
- No external assistance, internet browsing, or AI tools are permitted during the round.
- Decisions of the judges and organizers are final.
- All team members must participate in the challenge
If teams receive the same score, the team that completed the final task in the shortest time will be ranked higher. If still tied, judges’ evaluation of teamwork and communication will determine the final ranking.

About the event
LLM Showdown is a 2-round event of wit, strategy, and AI prompting inspired by Codenames. Two teams compete to guide ChatGPT toward their secret target word without ever revealing it directly. Players must craft clever, indirect prompts while avoiding the target word and all its derivatives. Every response becomes a test of deduction, deception, and prompt-engineering skill.
