The Hush is a silent business simulation where teams run their own company, bidding and trading for limited resources without speaking a single word. Every team secretly chases a different goal, hidden from everyone else until the very end. Along the way, live "Breaking News" twists and surprise Hush Cards force teams to rethink their strategy on the spot. Its part business strategy, part mystery and the silence is what makes it work.

Event Heads
CommerceEvent Round Details
The first round introduces the shared resource pool. Teams get familiar with sealed-bid auctions and open trading for the first time. A smaller, simpler set of resources is available to keep the learning curve easy.
- Every team writes one private bid per resource, folds it, and submits it silently.
- Highest bid wins and pays exactly what they wrote; no more, no less.
- After the auction, an Open Trading window opens where teams can silently negotiate and exchange resources using written Trade Notes.
- Each team draws one private Hush Card at the start of the round and may use it any time before the round ends.
The tie is broken by submission order; whichever team handed in their bid card first among the tied teams wins the resource.
The pace picks up. 2-3 new resources are introduced into the shared pool alongside the existing ones, and the first Breaking News twist is announced, shifting the value or availability of a resource for every team at once.

- Breaking News is announced live before the round's auction begins and applies equally to all teams.
- Each team draws a new private Hush Card for this round.
- New resources introduced this round may have no prior bidding history — teams must judge their value fresh.

The final and highest-stakes round. A second Breaking News twist drops, resource supply may tighten (some resources reduced or removed), and this is the last chance for teams to secure what they need before the silence breaks.
