ITEvent Round Details
Teams bid on the number of answers they believe they can identify for a given question. The highest bidder gets the first chance to answer.
- Bid for the number of answers you think you know.
- Highest bidder answers first.
- Full correct answer → +20 points.
- More than halfway → +10 points and chance passes to the next bidder.
- Less than halfway/Incorrect → -10 points and chance passes.
- Second-highest bidder can earn +15 / +5 / −5 based on performance.
The team with the higher successful bid gets priority. If still tied, an additional bid question will be used.
A fast-paced film trivia round where teams must identify the correct answer based on the question presented.
- Find the Answer! - A question paper will be provided and teams must write their answers on it.
A sudden-death film trivia question will be asked. The first team to answer correctly wins the tie.
Five pictures will be displayed on the screen, each providing a clue to the same movie. Teams must identify the movie using the pictures. The fewer clues needed, the more points the team earns.
- Picture 1: +10 / -5
- Picture 2: +8 / -4
- Picture 3: +6 / -3
- Picture 4: +4 / -2
- Picture 5: +2 / -1
- Teams may attempt an answer after each picture.
If teams are tied, an additional Connexions set will be played. The team identifying the movie with fewer clues wins the tie.

About the event
Codera is a two-round competitive programming event that pushes you from raw algorithmic speed to adaptive problem-solving. In the first round, teams race against the clock in an ICPC-style contest, tackling 4–5 problems of increasing difficulty under strict time and penalty pressure. Only top performing teams advance to Round 2, where the same coding and DSA fundamentals get put through a completely different test — a surprise challenge built to see how your team thinks, adapts and works together when the format itself becomes the puzzle. Codera rewards those who can code fast, think faster, and adapt when the rules of the game suddenly change.
