Event Round Details

Description

Each robot is inspected for basic eligibility, safe operation, and compliance with the event rules. Teams will be given a short practice window to validate their robot. This track will be different from the main track.

  • Free choice of controller, sensors, motors, and battery.
  • Construct all circuitry on perf-boards or breadboards only.
  • Prohibit custom or commercial PCBs.
  • Fix exposed wiring, loose connections, and sharp edges to avoid rejection.
  • Use wireless modules exclusively during this practice/tuning window.
Description

Eligible robots attempt the official track under controlled conditions. Each participant/team will receive two attempts, with the better valid time recorded.

  • Attempt the official track.
  • Run under controlled conditions.
  • Allowed two attempts per participant or team.
  • Score based on the better valid time.
  • Operate robot completely autonomously.
  • Prohibit manual steering during official runs.
  • Use only permitted components from the final circular.
  • Detach or fully disable all wireless modules before starting.
  • Accept organizer's track as the official timing reference.
  • Do not damage, obstruct, or alter the track.
  • Do not interfere with another team's robot.
  • Avoid repeated unsafe operation to prevent disqualification.
  • Accept the judges' final decision on validity and ranking.
Tie Breaker

The fastest valid performances are ranked. A predefined tie-break mechanism is used when two robots achieve the same or indistinguishably close result.
