Event Heads
CHEMEvent Round Details
Participants submit an abstract at least a week prior to the event, after which a poster template is shared. The completed poster (using only the provided template) must be mailed at least 3 days prior to the event day. Participants present their poster offline and are questioned by judges.
- Abstracts must be sent at least a week prior to the event day, after which the poster template will be shared.
- The abstract must be a Word document, not exceeding 300 words, including Title, Participant(s), Email Address and Affiliation of the authors.
- Abstract format: Font - Times New Roman, Font size - 12pt, Line Spacing - 1.5.
- The soft copy of the poster must be mailed at least 3 days prior to the event day, using only the template provided.
- The email subject should be 'POSTER (Participants' names)' and the file name should be the title of the poster.
- The email ID for abstract/poster submission will be shared after registration.
- All participants must join the link 10 minutes before the scheduled event time.
- All registered participants should be present throughout the session.
- Posters must reach organizers 2-3 days before the event and strictly adhere to the sent template.
- Judge's decision is final.

Welcome to the Chemical Cinematic Universe – where Bollywood/Tollywood meets the brilliance of Chemical Engineering! In this quiz-style event, participants are given the first letters of four key movie elements: hero's name, heroine's name, song title, and movie title. Using these clues, each team must identify the correct movie as quickly as possible. Once the movie is guessed correctly, the team must connect the movie to real-world engineering concepts, listing and explaining engineering aspects (from various departments) linked to the events or themes in the movie.

About the event
A two-round game combining Charades and Rapid Fire, testing teams' knowledge of Chemical Engineering terms. In Charades, one member gives one-word clues while the others guess the term; in Rapid Fire, the top-scoring teams face buzzer-based questioning.
