Event Round Details

Description

Participants will compete in head-to-head elimination matches, with the winner advancing and the loser being eliminated from the competition. The same format will be followed for both individual and team entries.

Rules
  • A referee/student volunteer will monitor every match. His/her decision regarding fouls, gameplay and match outcomes will be final and binding.
  • Thumping is strictly prohibited.
Description

As the competition progresses, participants/teams will be paired with others having the same number of wins. For example, participants with 2 wins will compete only against other participants with 2 wins, ensuring fair and competitive matchups throughout the event. A loss at any stage results in elimination. The elimination rounds will continue throughout the day until only the final two survivors remain. These two finalists will compete in the Final, conducted towards the end of the event, with the winner crowned the STRIKERS '26 champion. The format applies equally to both individual and team categories.

Rules
  • Each singles/team match will have a maximum duration of 10 minutes.
  • Before the match begins, a toss will determine the coin colour assigned to each player. Each player must target and pocket only their assigned colour coins.
  • Players must attempt to pocket all of their assigned coins within the stipulated 10-minute duration.
  • The match will end immediately if a player successfully pockets all of their assigned coins.
  • If neither player manages to pocket all their assigned coins within 10 minutes, the player with the fewer number of their assigned coins remaining on the board will be declared the winner.
Tie Breaker

If both players have the same number of their assigned coins remaining after the 10-minute match, the game will proceed into a tie-breaker round. During the tie-breaker, players will continue taking turns until a coin is successfully pocketed. A player must pocket only their assigned colour. If a player pockets an opponent's assigned coin during the tie-breaker, that player will be immediately eliminated, and the opponent will advance to the next round.
