Get ready for Circuit Clash, the ultimate electronics competition where fun games meet serious skill! In Round 1, your team will race against the clock, solving fast-paced word puzzles to earn circuit parts before building your final design. The excitement amps up in Round 2, a wild mix of a technical quiz and the classic game of musical chairs—only the sharpest and quickest teams will survive! The final showdown, "Blind Sparks," puts your teamwork to the ultimate test. Can you guide your blindfolded teammate to build a perfect circuit using only your voice? This high-energy event challenges your mind, speed, and trust. Assemble your team and get ready to spark some competition!
The opening round combines puzzles with circuit building to create a fast-paced challenge. Teams begin by playing “Who Am I,” where one player sticks a technical term on their forehead without knowing what it is. Their teammates can only answer in “yes” or “no,” while the player must guess the term within two to three minutes. A correct guess earns the team one circuit piece. After collecting all the pieces across five to six rounds, teams must assemble the circuit on their board and solve the final circuit problem. The timer runs from the start of the challenge until the final answer is given, and the teams that finish in the least amount of time will qualify for the next round. Team discussion is permitted only during the circuit-solving stage, and although multiple attempts are allowed, the clock keeps running. Only the guesser is allowed to speak during the “Who Am I” segment.
The second round is a unique blend of a technical quiz and the classic game of musical chairs, bringing together brainpower and reflexes. Two members of each team will attempt a timed quiz, while the third member participates in the musical chair activity. Correct quiz answers award points and make players eligible for the chair round, while wrong or missed answers lead to a loss of points and ineligibility for the chair. As the chair game proceeds, surviving players earn bonus points while eliminated players lose points. Both the quiz and the chair game run in sync, and only players deemed eligible from the quiz can participate in the chair round. At the end of this stage, teams with the highest combined scores advance to the finals.
Welcome to the ultimate test of teamwork! In "Blind Sparks," your team splits into two roles: Guides and Builders. The Guides study a complex circuit diagram, while the Builders, working completely blind, must assemble the circuit on a breadboard using only their teammates' verbal instructions. Once the circuit is built, you'll use a multimeter to measure a specific value, like the voltage across a resistor. Judges will check your measurement against the theoretical answer. The fastest team with a correct assembly and an accurate result wins! A single miscommunication can cost you precious time, and Builders caught peeking will be disqualified. This round is all about trust, clear communication, and precision under pressure.
