A hackathon with a twist where teams build an app while navigating a dynamic world of APIs. Each stage unlocks new APIs based on your performance in games and quizzes, challenging your creativity, integration skills, and adaptability.

In the first round, each track (domain) will be assigned a Base API that all teams within that track must use to begin development. After this, the Sabotages begins. Three teams from the same track will be called at a time to play an exciting game of Heads Up. The winning team will have two choices: Option 1: Choose the best sabotage for themselves. In this case, the second-place team will choose their own sabotage, and the third team will receive the remaining sabotage option. Option 2: Assign the worst sabotages to the other two teams. If they take this option, the organizing team will assign the winning team a lesser-impact sabotage. Once sabotages are finalized, teams must begin coding using the Base API while working around their assigned sabotage
At the end of Round 1, each team will spin a wheel to select their Second API. Each track will have a pool of APIs, containing both relevant and less relevant ones. Teams must creatively think about how to integrate their new API into their project. After receiving their second API, teams must submit a short document covering: The solution they intend to build How they plan to integrate the newly assigned API They will then be given 90 minutes of focused development time to implement their solution.
