Event Round Details

Description

Teams will identify a significant healthcare problem within the given focus areas and conduct relevant background research. They must clearly define the problem, establish its significance, identify existing limitations, determine the scope of the proposed solution, and formulate clear objectives.

Rules
  • Each team must consist of 1–3 participants.
  • The proposed idea must address a relevant healthcare problem.
  • The solution must fall within at least one of the specified focus areas.
  • Teams must clearly explain the problem, significance, proposed approach, and objectives.
  • Ideas must demonstrate originality and potential practical impact.
  • Teams must adhere to the time limits specified by the organizers.
Tie Breaker

In case of a tie, the team with the stronger problem justification, research quality, innovation, and potential healthcare impact will be given preference.

Description

Teams will develop their proposed solutions into practical prototypes or demonstrable technical systems. Participants will be evaluated on the feasibility, functionality, innovation, and practical applicability of their solutions. Teams without physical prototypes may demonstrate their concepts using simulations, software demonstrations, system workflows, or other suitable technical representations.

Rules
  • Teams must develop their solution based on the concept proposed in Round 1.
  • The prototype or demonstration must be relevant to the identified healthcare problem.
  • Teams must clearly explain the working principle, methodology, and expected outcome.
  • Use of simulations or software-based demonstrations is permitted when a physical prototype is not feasible.
  • Teams must use resources responsibly and comply with event guidelines.
  • Teams must adhere to the allocated development and presentation time.
Tie Breaker

In case of a tie, the team demonstrating superior technical feasibility, innovation, functionality, practical applicability, and healthcare impact will be given preference.
